What makes you angry?
Greed and deceit. It’s really unnecessary.
What’s your most embarrassing moment of your life?
I was a straight A student all of my school life except for 9th grade. For some reason, that was a difficult year for me emotionally and I didn’t apply myself.  When I received a D in chemistry after having a B the prior grading period, my grandmother showed up at the school, in my classroom, in front of my classmates and threatened me within an inch of my life if I didn’t bring my grade up. She didn’t whisper it or say it in a private conference with the teacher. No, she stood in front of the entire class and announced it in front of everyone. Mr. Matthews, my chemistry teacher, smiled smugly. I was mortified. Needless to say, I was teased for the remainder of the school year. However, when the grades came out, I’d raised my grade to an A.
How do you think people perceive writers?
Eccentric people who are grossly detached from reality. I think in reality, writers are too in touch with reality and, therefore, write to escape it.
What’s your next project?
A follow up novel to Prudence. Right now it’s called Wildflower, inspired by the 70’s Skylark song of the same name, Wildflower.  The title may change though.
What would you love to produce in your life?
I’m not quite sure in what manner you mean. But I’d love live a life free of financial concerns.
What’s the reason for your life? Have you figured out your reason for being here yet?
No, but it sure is an adventure trying to find out. Sometimes I believe my purpose is to entertain through the written word — to help people escape (or deal with) the realities of life. Then other times I think my purpose is to facilitate — make things happen for other people.
How do you feel about self-publishing?
I think it’s bold, brave, and in some cases, necessary. Kudos to self-publishers. They are entrepreneurs — taking charge of their own works. Self-publishers ROCK!
Do you know your neighbors?
Kind of. One is super duper mean… she needs a nap. One is very private. Another reminds me of the 60s hippies raising kids. I don’t know the others. Mostly, we all mind our own business, speak when we see each other and keep it moving.
What does love mean to you?
I’m evolving as I reach a milestone in my life. My meaning of love has evolved as well. Love, to me, means to do no harm, to cherish, and respect boundaries.
What social issues interest you the most?
Hunger, homelessness and education
When you get free time on the internet or you go to the library – what do you want to read about?
Corporate espionage or entertainment gossip
